The delegation of the Shiite Endowment visits a number of projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine

The delegation of the Shiite endowment "Waqf" was briefed on a number of projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

"We conducted a tour of a group of projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that are still under construction, especially expansion projects,"said Deputy Chief of the "Waqf" engineer Hussein al-Tamimi.

He added that" the visited projects included the Umm al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon them) and the basement of the Qibla Gate of Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon him) project, as well as the project of the Al-Kafeel Museum of treasures and manuscripts, "pointing out that"they will contribute to providing great services to visitors.

For his part, the head of the Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, Mr. Dia al-Sa'egh, said earlier that " the projects of the holy shrine are being studied in detail, focusing primarily on visitor service projects, which are represented by horizontal expansion projects, and the creation of new courtyards to accommodate the increasing numbers of visitors."

He explained that"the projects of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon them), the great courtyard of Qibla gate of Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon him) and the great museum will contribute to providing a suitable atmosphere of cooling, organization and other services for visitors".
