Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine reveals the latest developments in the work of the Umm al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon her)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has revealed the latest developments in the work of the Umm Al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon her), next to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The project is supervised by the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine, and implemented by the Iraqi Ardh al-Quds Company, funded by the Shiite endowment Bureau.

The head of the Department, engineer Dia al-Saegh, said that "work is progressing at a fast pace in the Umm al-Baneen Courtyard Project (Peace be upon her), which has a total area of (22) thousand square meters, (10) thousand square meters for the basement, and about (12) thousand square meters the surface of this basement, which is connected with the perimeter of the Holy Shrine".

He added, "due to the magnitude of the project, the work was divided into three stages, and the staff of the department began the first stage, which included digging the foundations, after planting concrete pillars on the perimeter of the entire project, and then completed the external walls and covered and treated with the necessary materials of moisture barrier, (isocam) and other materials," pointing out that "the staff began to arm the first and second part, and poured it with a mat foundation, and then poured the walls, along with pouring ceilings, and the floor."

He pointed out that"the department has completed about (50%) of the reinforcement of the foundations, and started digging the third and final part of this project, and now the work is being done on the walls, plastering, maintenance and treatment with moisture-proof materials, and according to the data, the project will be completed on time".
