Al Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital holds the second symposium honoring the pioneers of medicine in Iraq

This afternoon, Friday (26th Jumada II 1441 AH) corresponding to (February 21, 2020), the second forum for honoring the pioneers of medicine in Iraq, was held by Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital under the auspices of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

The forum, which was held in the hall of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, started by reciting verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed Hasanain Al-Helou, after which the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine "Pride's tune" were played, then reading Surat Al-Fatihah In respect of the souls of the martyrs of Iraq.

Then came the word of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi, in which he affirmed that it is a matter of pride and honor that we meet today another kind of people from this country, who have served this country through the field of medicine...

Then the word of the al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, was delivered by the director of the hospital, Dr. Jassem Al-Ibrahimi, in which he confirmed that the pioneers of medicine provided Iraq with high-level medical staff, which can conduct interventions in most situations without the need for foreign expertise...

Then came the word of the pioneering physicians, whichwas delivered on their behalf by Dr. Khalifa Al-Sharji, in which he stated: “Thanks to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for this honor which surprised us, because it comes from a religious institution while governmental and societal institutions have neglected us...

Then a short documentary film on the al-Kafeel hospital and the services that it provides was presented, and then His Eminence, the senior official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine honored the pioneering physicians, so that the conclusion will be by announcing an invitation to attend the first al-Kafeel conference for spine surgery under the title: (Spine surgery .. problems and solutions).
